Republic may recall some rolling mill workers

Republic Engineered Products Inc. could recall as many as 175 steelworkers to its rolling mills on Jan. 5, according to local reports.
"Like the rest of the steel industry, we did shut down the rolling mill for a holiday outage," Ken Braun, spokesman for the Lorain, Ohio-based steel bar maker, said Monday.....
