Brazilian, Canadian unions meet in Sudbury

Union leaders from Brazil's Cia. Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) are spending the week in Sudbury, Ontario, with their Canadian counterparts to exchange information and strengthen the unity between the two groups.
"As a global nickel mining union, the (United Steelworkers union) has an ongoing relationship with the Central Única dos Trabalhadores, a large and dynamic Brazilian labor federation," Wayne Fraser, USW Ontario/Atlantic director, said.
