Construction contracts slip but still strong

The value of new construction contracts slipped 1 percent in May to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $591.5 billion.
Nonresidential building settled back after its improved performance in March and April and nonbuilding construction (public works and utilities) retreated slightly, but residential....
