ITC issues transcript on welded non-alloy steel pipe duty hearing

President Bush is due to receive a recommendation from the U.S. Trade Representative's Office Thursday on whether to impose duties or other restrictions on imports of welded non-alloy steel pipe from China (AMM, Nov. 21).
The hotly contested case included an ITC hearing Sept. 16 that lasted 10 hours. Supporting restrictions were representatives from Ipsco Tubulars Inc., Camanche, Iowa, Maverick Tube Corp., Chesterfield, Mo., and Nucor Steel-Arkansas, part of Nucor Corp., Charlotte,....
