World aluminum production rises 700,000 tonnes in first 11 months

Global aluminum production climbed 700,000 tonnes in the first 11 months of 2005 compared with the same period last year, according to the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), London.
Year-to-date production totaled 21.4 million tonnes, up 3.8 percent from 20.7 million tonnes a year earlier. Output averaged 64,100 tonnes per day vs. 61,700 tonnes in 2004.....
