Demolition firm paying Coatesville $1,000 to raze defunct Carlson plant

Gracie Corp., a Philadelphia-based demolition company, is paying the city of Coatesville, Pa., $1,000 to raze a defunct G.O. Carlson Inc. plant.
Gracie was the only one of six bidders to offer to pay Coatesville to demolish the plant, according to published reports. Other bids announced by the Coatesville Redevelopment Authority would have cost the city up to $624,000.....
