Copper prices fall as volume eases

Copper approached the $4.30 per pound mark in New York Wednesday but failed to match the previous day's settlement and ended lower amid light volume.

The markets have come off fresh records amid light trading ahead of the new year.

"There's a lot of event risk out there, you don't want to be worrying about when you're on vacation-things like issues in North and South Korea, events beyond the control of the individual investor. People try to take risk off the table," one category II trader told AMM. ....
