CHICAGO Ford Motor Co. expects to end 2011 with a tidy profit as it continues to eke out increases in market share across the globe, including North America, with fourth-quarter vehicle output expected to rise to match higher sales.
Dearborn, Mich.-based Fords newly ratified four-year labor contract with the United Auto Workers union, along with new product launches and continued worldwide investments in production, should lead to sustainable revenue and profit growth through mid-decade, president and chief executive officer Alan Mulally said during the automakers quarterly conference call.....
