PITTSBURGH — Louisiana’s Washington Parish Council has adopted an ordinance for the placement, construction and operation of scrapyards.
The ordinance, which passed Monday, requires any prospective scrapyard to develop a site plan, go before the planning commission for recommendation, receive council approval and obtain conditional-use permits.....
