NEW YORK — Aluminum scrap exports fell modestly in September, retreating from the three-year high set the previous month.

U.S. exporters sold 196,649 short tons of aluminum scrap to foreign consumers in September, down 1.7 percent from a month earlier, according to the latest data from the U.S. Commerce Department.....
