Copper scrap activity slows to year-end crawl

NEW YORK — The copper scrap market has stabilized and slowed this month as consumers look to wind down their inventories in December, market participants told AMM.

"Nobody is buying much, because it’s the end of the year," one scrap buyer told AMM. He said he had been quoted material but had not firmed up any orders.....
