Canadian extruder to open Ala. warehouse

NEW YORK — Almag Aluminum Inc. plans to open a new facility at a brownfield site in Ardmore, Ala., in the first half of 2012, a company executive told AMM.

The Brampton, Ontario-based extruder and fabricator will open a warehouse and fabrication operation in Ardmore at the Dekko Industrial Park to supply Steelcase Inc., a client that relocated to nearby Athens, Ala., earlier this year, according to Bob Peacock, president of Almag.....
