Leggett & Platt investing in Indiana mill

TORONTO — Leggett & Platt Inc. plans to invest $275,000 at its facility in Kouts, Ind., this year after closing its Nicholasville, Ky., plant in December.

The Carthage, Mo.-based diversified manufacturer said in a joint statement with the Indiana Economic and Development Corp. that it has already installed additional wire-drawing equipment in the Kouts plant as part of the expansion project.....
