W. Coast flat-rolled price rises still uncertain

LOS ANGELES The fate of West Coast flat-rolled steel price increases this month remains unresolved.
Hikes of at least $30 per ton ($1.50 per hundredweight) on hot-rolled, cold-rolled and galvanized sheet were slated for April by California Steel Industries Inc., Fontana, Calif., and market sources said USS-Posco Industries, Pittsburg, Calif., also had indicated its intent to boost tags by the same amount on cold-rolled and galvanized products. ....
