Jindal's Oman plant foundations set for June finish

The foundation work on steelmaker Jindal Shadeed’s 2 million-tpy meltshop in Oman could be completed in the early summer as consultant and client put the finishing touches to the final design, according to a source.
“The piling for the scrapyard is almost finished and we are looking to complete this by June or July,” the source said.
“This is an ongoing process, and we’re also looking to do non-core elements of the construction at the same time as the core elements [such as the foundations],” he added.
