NEW YORK Most large domestic stainless steel producers have lowered their surcharges for May due to falling nickel prices.
West Chester, Ohio-based AK Steel Corp. has set its surcharges at 87.23 cents per pound for Type 304 material, down 7.2 percent from 93.97 cents this month; 59.91 cents per pound for Type 201, down 5.4 percent from 63.33 cents; $1.2643 per pound for Type 316, down....
