Traders focus on copper prices in LME pre-market

All eyes remained on copper during pre-market trading on the London Metal Exchange on Friday April 27, as prices continue to rise and new resistance levels emerge.
Three-month copper opened at $8,302.25 per tonne, breaching a previous resistance level of $8,200-8,300, and is now heading for about $8,500 per tonne, a category I trader told Metal Bulletin.
“There’s been some technical stuff going on this morning [in London] and there was a good strong close last night,” he said.
