NEW YORK California is considering reducing the daily load limit for peddlers redeeming used beverage cans (UBCs) to as low as 50 pounds per day, as well as implementing stronger border controls to prevent import fraud.
The proposal is one of many to be considered at a series of workshops to be held by the California Department of Resources, Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), the first of which was scheduled to take place Tuesday.....
