CHICAGO — SDI La Farga LLC plans to expand the number of its suppliers and hire a purchasing manager for its new copper wire rod plant in New Haven, Ind., according to Marc Gascon, global raw materials buyer for parent company La Farga Group.
"The mill will have its own purchasing manager," he told attendees at the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries’ Commodities Roundtable Forum in Chicago.....
