NEW YORK Domestic mill lead times for most flat-rolled steel products have been shrinking as service center sources report limited spot buying amid a combination of readily available material and little-changed demand.
"I think especially in these first few weeks of September, order books are a little lean," one service center source in the Midwest told AMM.
A service center source in the North agreed, noting that lead times have come in at most of his companys suppliers in recent weeks.....
