LONDON — Assmang Ltd. has declared force majeure on some deliveries of manganese alloys and chrome ore due to the transport strike in South Africa, the company has confirmed.
Manganese ore shipments were not affected, and neither were alloy shipments to Assmang’s main markets, the Johannesburg-based company said. ....
