WTO backs US in China electrical steels appeal

NEW YORK The World Trade Organizations Appellate Body has sided largely with the United States in Chinas appeal on anti-dumping and subsidy duties on grain-oriented electrical steels.
The Appellate Body report released Thursday is the final step in an investigation that dates back to September 2010, when the United States complained that China incorrectly applied dumping margins of between 7.8 and 64.8 percent and subsidy margins of between 11.7 and 44.6 percent to U.S. producers (amm.com, Sept. 15, 2010). ....
