NEW YORK Annual ferroalloys contract talks for 2013 are starting to kick off, with buyers reporting an eagerness among suppliers to lock in business for next year.
"Everyones knocking on the door. Everyone wants to know what Im doing next year," one buyer said.
Market sources said the enthusiasm might be the result of a dearth of spot activity this year and the possibility of a supply increase for most alloys next year due to slowdowns in other parts of the world.....
