NEW YORK Axion Power International Inc. continues to search for external capital to sustain operations beyond March 2013 as its net loss widened to $2.14 million in the third quarter from a $1.97-million loss a year earlier.
The lead-carbon battery manufacturer posted revenue of $2.18 million for the three months ending Sept. 30, up 3.8 percent from almost $2.1 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011.....
