Ferrovanadium spot sales eye 2013 drop

NEW YORK — The rise seen this year in domestic ferrovanadium spot sales could come to an end in 2013, as some mills that have been actively buying prompt material are once again looking to lock in contracts, market sources told AMM.

"It (the increased activity) won’t be for long," one market source said, adding that at least one mill that has been active in the spot market this year is looking to secure contract tonnage for next year.....
