Alcoa taps operations head for downstream unit

NEW YORK — Alcoa Inc. has appointed Eric Roegner to the newly created position of chief operating officer of Alcoa Investment Castings, Forgings & Extrusions.
Roegner had been president of Alcoa Forgings & Extrusions since 2009. He will be succeeded in that post by Jacques Vanier, who had been chief operating officer of forgings and extrusions since January 2012.....
