ATI, AK, NAS cut stainless surcharges

CARLSBAD, Calif. — ATI Allegheny Ludlum Corp., AK Steel Corp. and North American Stainless Inc. (NAS) have lowered their stainless steel surcharges on most grades for April.
Ludlum, a division of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Technologies Inc., set its April surcharge for Type 304 stainless at 76.89 cents per pound, down 5.1 percent from 81.04 cents in March; Type 201 at 50.89 cents, down 2.4 percent from 52.12 cents; and Type 316 at $1.0795 per pound,....
