ATI, AK, NAS cut stainless surcharges

CARLSBAD, Calif. ATI Allegheny Ludlum Corp., AK Steel Corp. and North American Stainless Inc. (NAS) have lowered their stainless steel surcharges on most grades for April.
Ludlum, a division of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Technologies Inc., set its April surcharge for Type 304 stainless at 76.89 cents per pound, down 5.1 percent from 81.04 cents in March; Type 201 at 50.89 cents, down 2.4 percent from 52.12 cents; and Type 316 at $1.0795 per pound,....
