NEW YORK China overtook North America as the biggest molybdenum-producing region in 2012, while global production reached a record high of 529.8 million pounds, according to figures from the International Molybdenum Association (IMOA).
North American molybdenum production came in at 176.2 million pounds for 2012, down from 183.1 million pounds in 2011. ....
