Novelis considers further expansions

CHICAGO Novelis Inc. is mulling additional expansions even as it continues recent projects that have boosted the aluminum companys global downstream and recycling capacity.
"There are some significant growth options that we see in the automotive sector, we continue to focus on operational efficiency and recycling, and longer-term we are going to have to look at hot-mill capacity," Novelis president and chief executive officer Philip Martens said following the release of the Atlanta-based aluminum companys earnings results Aug. 12 (amm.com, Aug. 12)....
