Vale hires foreign workers to finish Long Harbour project

NEW YORK Vale SA has employed foreign workers to help complete the companys Long Harbour nickel processing plant in Newfoundland and Labrador, citing a lack of skilled trade workers available in the Canadian province.
The Rio de Janeiro-based miner has contracted 26 specialized welders from Ireland, as well as three crane operators, to help finish the Long Harbour project. ....
