Europe allocates $12.6M for three recycling projects

LONDON — The European Commission has earmarked €9.37 million ($12.6 million) in funding for three major research projects to help increase innovation in recycling nonferrous metals.

The three projects—which will focus on auto shredding, aluminum scrap and batteries—will be launched Nov. 6, the commission said.....
