ArcelorMittal case pretrial set for March

NEW YORK A March trial date has been set concerning environmental charges filed against ArcelorMittal Dofasco Inc. by Ontarios Ministry of Environment.
"We attended court on (Nov. 3)," a spokeswoman for the Hamilton, Ontario-based company told AMM via e-mail. "A pretrial date was set for March 27, which is the next step in the court process."
The spokeswoman declined to comment further, given that the matter is pending in the John Sopinka Court House in Hamilton, although she underscored that the flat-rolled steelmaker is working on long-term strategies to reduce environmental impacts.....
