NEW YORK — U.S. rebar mills have asked the U.S. Commerce Department to retroactively apply anti-dumping duties against imports from Mexico.

Alleging critical circumstances, the domestic mills claim that rebar shipments from Mexico surged in the months following the Sept. 4 filing of a trade complaint against Mexico and Turkey (amm.com, Sept. 4) in an attempt to beat the imposition of anti-dumping duties.....
