PCC exec covets titanium raw materials

LOS ANGELES Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), viewing titanium raw material prices at "historically low levels," is looking to get access to as much as possibleat least until prices move up.
"I actually would love to get my hands on as much revert as I could now," Mark Donegan, chairman and chief operating officer of Portland, Ore.-based PCC, said about titanium scrap during a quarterly earnings conference call this week. He indicated that he has the same bullish view of rutile, an ore feedstock element in virgin sponge. ....
