Twitch prices decline on zorba glut

NEW YORK — U.S. prices for high-grade twitch, or floated fragmentizer aluminum scrap, have fallen over the past week, with market participants saying that a recent uptick in the domestic supply of zorba, a lower-grade nonferrous auto shred used to make twitch, had “thrown the market into flux.”

Twitch prices have slipped to 83 to 85 cents per pound from 84 to 86 cents previously, market participants told AMM.....
