Copper premiums up after Comex hits high

NEW YORK Copper cathode premiums edged up this past week amid a severe shortage of higher grades of copper scrap and a seasonal increase in copper demand.
The cathode premium rose by half a penny on the low end to a range of 7 to 7.5 cents per pound April 24 from 6.5 to 7.5 cents per pound previously.....
