Harsco earnings rise in qtr.; upbeat on nickel, steel prices

PITTSBURGH Harsco Corp. expects business conditions to improve during the year and is encouraged by the recent firming of nickel and steel prices.
"March was quite strong and (in) particular we saw nickel prices increase, steel production improve and natural gas prices firm as well," president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer F. Nicholas Grasberger said during the companys earnings conference call.....
