Commerce rescinds review of steel from three Chinese firms

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has rescinded its anti-dumping duty administrative review of hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from China’s Baoshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., Baosteel Group Corp. Ltd. and Shanghai Baosteel International Economic & Trading Co. Ltd.

The ITA said the companies were found to have made no shipments to the United States during the Nov. 1, 2010, to Oct. 31, 2011, period of review.

The China-wide rate is 90.83 percent.
