NEW YORK Mark Kamon, Carpenter Technology Corp.s senior vice president of commercial specialty alloy operations, will retire at year-end.
The Wyomissing, Pa.-based company will name a replacement for Kamon "in a future press release," the company said.
Kamon joined Carpenter in November 2000 as president of subsidiary Dynamet Inc. He also served as vice president of international at Dynamet and Carpenter Powder Products, as well as senior vice president of advanced metals operations.
"Marks extraordinary knowledge of the industry and his commercial expertise will be strongly missed," chairman, president and chief executive officer William Wulfsohn said in a statement.
