NEW YORK — The U.S. Commerce Department has issued an affirmative final anti-dumping and countervailing duty determination on imports of steel wire garment hangers from Vietnam.

Commerce determined that producers/exporters from Vietnam sold steel hangers in the United States at dumping margins of 157 percent to 220.68 percent and received subsidies of 31.58 percent to 90.42 percent.

The International Trade Commission is scheduled to make its final determination by Jan. 31 on whether subject imports materially injure and threaten to injure the domestic market.
