SÃO PAULO Brazil
has extended its deadline for an anti-dumping probe into
imports of non-grain-oriented electrical steels from China,
Taiwan and South Korea.
The investigation has been
pushed back by up to six months from April 19, 2013, foreign
trade secretariat Secex, part of the Ministry of Development,
Industry and Foreign Trade, said Feb. 6 in Brazils
Secex didnt give a reason
for the extension.
The case was opened in April
2012 after a request from Aperam Inox América do Sul SA,
the sole domestic maker of the products.
