NEW YORK North American
Stainless Inc. (NAS) has reduced its fuel surcharge for
stainless flat and long products to 34 percent effective with
May 1 shipments.
The Ghent, Ky.-based producer,
which reviews its fuel surcharge on a monthly basis, maintained
a 36-percent fuel surcharge for flat and long products last

NAS previously announced that it had lowered surcharges on
most of its stainless grades for May (
amm.com, April 22).
