Commerce initiates steel duty reviews vs. China

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has initiated administrative reviews of anti-dumping duties and a countervailing duty order on imports of steel products from China.

The anti-dumping duty reviews cover steel grating and circular-welded carbon-quality steel pipe from China from July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2013, and steel threaded rod from China from April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2013.

The ITA also has initiated an administrative review of a countervailing duty order on circular-welded carbon-quality steel pipe from China from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2012

The ITA intends to issue final results no later than July 30, 2014.
