Facilitating vital business connections for the ferroalloys supply chain
In 2016, more than 150 delegates from 114 companies joined us at our inaugural event dedicated to the North American ferroalloys industry.
Attendees came from across the industry spectrum, including 35 raw material buyers from major steel producers in the region.

While there is uncertainty surrounding the nature of President Trump’s policies, 2017 could be brighter for the industry as US alloy producers are expected to benefit from more severe import duties and anti-dumping measures on foreign material.
Also, global prices for most bulk and specialty ferroalloys continue to improve on the recovery seen at the end of 2016.
This provides a compelling outlook for the year, with a number of interesting market dynamics to keep a close eye on.
The roundtables proved highly popular, with open and informative discussions on issues facing the ferroalloys industry and business practices lead by industry experts including Cleber Mattos of Gerdau and Dr. Danko Konchar of AFARAK Group. The roundtables will be back this year, allowing you to discuss your alloy of interest with the experts.
