    Q. How do I subscribe?

    A. You can subscribe online by clicking here or you can call our subscription sales department or (877) 638-2856 or(412) 765-3581 between 9am and 5:30pm EDT.

    Q. What is the duration of my subscription?

    A. Each paid license term for American Metal Market lasts 12 months from the date of payment.

    Q. My contact details have changed. How can I update them?

    A. You can contact customer service to update your contact details at (412) 765-2580 Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm EDT.

    Q. I am a new subscriber. What is my username and password?

    A. You should have received a welcome email from customer service shortly after your payment was processed. This email contains instructions on how to retrieve your login information. Your username is your registered email address. To request your password, click here.

    Q. I have forgotten my AMM username or password.

    A. You can request your login details here

    Q. I would like to change my password, how do I do that?

    A. Click here to visit the 'Preferences' section of AMM. You can reset your password on this page.

    Q. I’d like to upgrade my subscription to include the full archive or add LME live feed. How do I do this?

    A. You can contact our subscriptions sales department at (877) 638-2856 or (412) 765-3581 to upgrade your subscription. This department is available between 9am and 5:30pm EDT.

    Q. My colleagues need to access American Metal Market. Are there discounts available for group subscriptions?

    A. Group subscription benefit from our best rates. For full information on group subscriptions and how they offer the best value for your company, request a quote.

    Q. When does my subscription expire?

    A. Your expiration date is displayed in the top right corner of the homepage when you are logged in, for example:

    Q. How can I renew my subscription?

    A. When you are logged in to your account on www.amm.com, you can renew your subscription online by clicking on the ‘Renew’ button at the top right of the screen. If you prefer to renew over the phone, please call our subscriptions sales department on (877) 638-2856 or (412) 765-3581 between 5am and 5pm Pacific.

    Q. Where can I download today’s edition of AMM Daily?

    A. You can find a link to download today’s issue in the header of www.amm.com. You must be logged in to your account to download the issue.

    Q. Where can I download an older issue of AMM Daily?

    A. You can download an older version of AMM Daily, by first logging into your account then clicking on the ‘News’ tab. From there you’ll see an option to ‘View Back Issues’ where you can select the date of the issue you would like to view.

    Q. Where can I download this month’s American Metal Market magazine?

    A. Once you are logged in to your account on www.amm.com, click on the ‘Magazine’ tab at the top of the page. From there (depending on your subscription level) you can download the current issue of American Metal Market magazine or download older issues from our archive.

    Q. Where can I download an older issue of American Metal Market magazine?

    A. Once you are logged in to your account on www.amm.com, click on the ‘Magazine’ tab at the top of the page. From there (depending on your subscription level) you can download the current issue of American Metal Market magazine or download older issues from our archive.

    Q. I have received an invoice, but I have already paid. What do I do?

    A. It’s not uncommon for invoices and payments to cross in the mail. Please allow up to two weeks for payment to be processed in addition to mail time.

    Q. How long does my free trial last?

    A. Your free trial to American Metal Market lasts for two weeks.

    Q. My company subscribes, does that mean I can share my copy of AMM’s Daily issue or share my log-in details to www.amm.com with my colleagues?

    Q. I am not receiving my AMM Daily pdf email. What can I do?

    A. You may need to add our domain name to your Safe Senders List in order to start receiving the AMM Daily pdf email. Your IT department may be able to do this for you, or you can follow these steps:

    You can add either the sender's e-mail address or their domain name to the Safe Senders List.
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
    3. Click the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab.
    4. Click Add.
    5. In the Enter an e-mail address or Internet domain name to be added to the list box, enter the name or address you want added, and then click OK.
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each name or address that you want to add.

    Q. Where can I find my username and/or password?

    A. Please see our support page for questions about your username or password.

    Q. Can I access www.amm.com from my mobile device?

    A.  Yes! AMM is optimized for mobile devices. You may also download our mobile app for iOS devices.

    Q. How do I set up keyword news alerts?

    A. With keyword news alerts, you will receive an email every time a story of interest breaks. Once you log in to AMM, go to the ‘Preferences’ section found at the top right corner of the page and from there you can enter your key words.

    Q. How do I set up price change alerts?

    A. To save time checking prices, AMM will email you when a price changes for a material you are tracking. To set this up, first log into to AMM and search for the material from the Price Tracker. Then check the box next to the material and select ‘Save to My Prices' at the bottom of the page. To set up your email alerts, click on My Prices and check the box next to the material name. Click on 'Set Up Email Alert' and select how frequently you wish to receive alerts. For assistance setting up your price change alerts, please contact our customer service department at custserv@amm.com

    Q. When did American Metal Market first publish market information?

    A. American Metal Market has been the leading price reporting agency since 1882.

    Q. How frequently does American Metal Market publish an issue?

    A. American Metal Market is a daily publication. As a subscriber you will receive AMM Daily, which is a compilation of the previous days' prices and the most important news stories, sent directly to your inbox every business day. American Metal Market does not publish on major US holidays. In addition to AMM Daily, American Metal Market updates its online news feed throughout the day via its global editorial network. Current pricing and news stories can also be accessed through the AMM mobile app.

    Q. How do you determine what stories go into AMM Daily?

    A. Our experienced editors compile the AMM Daily edition by choosing stories that they deem to be the most important or breaking news in the industry, to give you, the reader, the most comprehensive view of what is currently happening in the marketplace.

    A. You can download an older issue of AMM Daily by first logging into your account, then clicking on News. From there, you’ll see a section headed 'AMM Daily,' where you have the option to click on 'Download Today's Issue', 'Previous Day's Issue' or ‘View Back Issues,’ which will allow you to select the date of the issue you would like to view.

    Q. Where can I view or download the American Metal Market magazine?

    A. Once you are logged in to your AMM account, click on the Magazine tab at the top of the homepage. From there (depending on your license level) you can download the current issue of American Metal Market magazine or download older issues from our archive.

    Q. I haven't received my American Metal Market magazine for the past few months. How can I receive these issues?

    A. Please contact customer service at 412-765-2580 to verify that we have the correct physical address on your license. Extra copies of the magazine can be mailed upon request.

    Q. I want to submit a press release or I have a story idea. How do I do that?

    Q. How do I seek permission to redistribute a story that mentions my company?
