American Metal Market Hosts Inaugural Aluminum Summit

New York, NY July 2011- The inaugural Aluminum Summit, hosted by American Metal Market, was recently held in the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers. The purpose of the event was to provide a forum for high-level leadership and market participants to share and debate their vision for the advancement of the aluminum industry, along with its supply chain.

Anchored by 2011 keynote Klaus Kleinfeld of Alcoa, highlight presenter Jacynthe Côté of Rio Tinto Alcan and a live on-stage interview with Phil Martens of Novelis, the Aluminum Summit welcomed many of the global aluminum industry’s high-level decision-makers. Next year’s Aluminum Summit is scheduled to take place in May 2012.

To complement its editorial side, AMM Events "brings to life" its publications via a number of conferences specifically designed for the current metals industry. Dynamic presentations from industry leaders provide an elite forum for discussion regarding the industry's critical issues. Each event draws top level industry executives and offers valuable networking opportunities with the high-level decision makers who impact the global industry.
